Herbal Therapy
One of the strengths of herbal therapies in general is that the use of herbs helps to provide the body with essential nutrients that may be lacking in the daily diet and healing some chronic disease naturally. When the body does not receive sufficient nutrition, various types of aches, pains, and emotional disorders begin to appear. By using herbs to restore a nutritional balance, the body is equipped with what it needs to overcome illness and regain health.

Acupuncture can increase blood flow to the endometrium, helping to facilitate a thick, rich lining, to reduce stress and anxiety levels, possible regulation of gonadotropin-releasing hormones, which in turn can help regulate ovulation, and improve pregnancy rates during IVF treatment cycles.

Induce Labor
Acupuncture works by stimulating the mother's body to ready itself for labor. Needling will encourage the body to naturally release related hormones to soften and ripen the cervix for labor, and oxytocin to trigger contractions. It decreases a mother's stress as well.

Acupuncture can treat chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia, mood disorders, and emotional upheaval which result from depression syndrome. It can help to release endorphins into the central nervous system which are "feel good" hormones, which increase energy and help rebalance emotional imbalances.

The aim of acupuncture for allergies is to first restore normal immune function by decreasing the reactivity of the body to allergens, and then to focus on strengthening and regulating the immune function of the body.

Side Effects Related to Cancer
Acupuncture may help to alleviate cancer treatment-related side effects, such as nausea and vomiting, as well as other common symptoms such as stress, fatigue, pain, and neuropathy.

Acupressure is related to acupuncture; instead of using needles to manipulate qi, the fingers are used instead. Acupressure is very good for certain problems; while acupuncture usually gets superior results, acupressure has its advantages for patients who are squeamish about being needled.

Foot Reflexology
Reflexology (zone therapy) is an alternative medicine method involving the practice of massaging or applying pressure to parts of the feet. The feet are the mirror of the body, each organ is represented on the foot. Reflexology taps into this reflex network, providing an exercise of pressure sensors and thus the internal organs to which they are inextricably tied.

The benefits of reflexology include: Relaxation, Pain reduction, Amelioration of symptoms for health concerns, Rejuvenation of tired feet, Improvement in blood flow, Impact on physiological measures, Beneficial for post-operative recovery and pain reduction, Enhancement of medical care, Adjunct to mental health care, Complement to cancer care, and easier birthing/delivery/post-partum recovery.
